Ministry in the City HUB

The HUB is supporting the work of Rev. Steven Park, founder of Little Lights, as they increase their impact with the Jubilee Center, a 6,000-square-foot space where they will serve over 500 youth annually and approximately 400 adults through expanded academic, social-emotional, and creative programming. The initiative will provide classrooms, counseling spaces, technology labs, and multipurpose areas, emphasizing individualized instruction, spiritual care, and arts integration. Founded in 1995 with a vision to care for the underserved youth and families in Washington, DC, Little Lights has become a faith-centered ministry that integrates prayer, discipleship, and gospel-centered mentorship alongside academic and social-emotional support.

In October of 2025, Little Lights hosted the 2025 Benefit to celebrate three decades of impact in Washington, DC. The event brought together 230 guests, including students, alumni, volunteers, and supporters. Five current and former students shared how long-term relationships, academic support, and faith-centered mentoring shaped their growth and inspired the next generation, highlighting both the lasting impact of Little Lights’ programs and excitement for their expansion with the Jubilee Center, which is nearing completion.
