VISIBLE 2.0

Ritchie Kong Santa Ana, CA

In VISIBLE 2.0, our collective of artists continue the work that has been created by artists who completed the Visible curriculum. Building on the presentations from the Visible Art Show, Newsong Church Community will create a new Haven group for artists that will meet twice a month to continue learning technique and fostering each artists’ identity and relationship to God. In addition, the group will provide support for artists to further their impact in the community of Santa Ana.

About Ritchie

Ritchie Kong is an experienced designer / muralist living in Long beach, CA. He received his formal education at Cal State Fullerton where he uses his knowledge in design and illustration into the work he creates on walls and various 3-dimensional pieces. His artistic strength involves the use of spray paint as a primary medium and manufactures household materials into interactive displays. Ritchie uses his work as a way to educate youth advocates and underprivileged youth by actively involving them in social activities on school campuses, engaging in mentorship, & beautification projects with the request of city locals, clubs, businesses, schools and nonprofits. Ritchie continues to seek more opportunities to provide safe spaces and bring people together through faith and the arts.
