Kelowna Network Mapping

Over the past few months, Relatives in Reconciliation: Kelowna Network Mapping has worked with organizations, community members and church leaders to develop a map for an emerging network in Kelowna, BC. Formed from three groups: Next Steps on the Path for Reconciliation Working Group, the Reconciliation Collective, and a festival planning group called Reconcili-ACTION, the network seeks to develop community relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples. Through visual mapping using the Padlet software, group interviews and one-to-one meetings, Mackenzie Griffin has had the opportunity to record a podcast episode and tell written stories of fellow reconcilers from various backgrounds. Some of the current stories are around the subjects of orthodoxy vs. orthopraxy, intergenerational trauma and healing, and listening to our ancestors.
