In March, HUB Grantee Raquel Toledo launched Toda tú eres bella: El verdadero amor in Puerto Rico to promote wholeness and dignity in Jesus Christ to every child of God. Though the host church was small in number, over 120 attendees showed up. Someone even rented a bus to bring attendees!
Toda tú eres bella seeks to create safe environments where women and young teens aged 15 and above are invited to explore and dialogue on relevant issues around the topic of intimate partner violence. With compassion and support women victims, survivors, and advocates seeking hope and a supportive community find a space to express themselves and connect with other women who share their vision and mission. Toda tú eres bella: El verdadero amor will continue to travel around the country to major cities to create communities of care. The next stop will be in Chicago, Illinois.
