Creative Community Care Traveling Exhibition Toronto

A part of Creative Community Care March 6–22, 2026 Toronto, ON (Canada)

Creative Community Care: Artists Respond to Pandemic Times is an interactive group exhibit exploring concerns and questions arising from COVID-19 and racial violence at the intersection of the arts, learning, faith, and the city. Eight artists adapted their creative practices to process their own experiences with grief and memory, relationships as neighbors and friends, and roles as parents and caregivers. Their works invite us to consider the relevance of the arts for healing and dream of new ways we might care for our communities.

What happens when caring for the world around us meets caring for our friends and family? Join us to make “something from nothing,” an interactive art-making experience based on themes of friendship and gratitude led by Naomi Kuo, an artist in the Creative Community Care exhibition. This gallery tour and workshop is designed for anyone interested in exploring how the arts help us to care for our communities: ministry leaders, youth pastors, social workers, community organizers, teachers, parents, friends, and you!
